Happy Thanksgiving

As we approach this Thanksgiving holiday we all get a chance to reflect on what we are thankful for. For me it is the health,happiness and love for my family as well as the joy I receive from helping my patients. I am humbled to be able to provide care for people from all over the United States as well as all over the world. Having patients from every different background, culture and religion has only made my experience as a Facial Plastic Surgeon richer and more fulfilling and I will continue to give all of my patients my absolute very best every time I enter the operating room.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As a Facial Plastic Surgeon in Beverly Hills my practice is 100% focused towards enhancing the face for both women and men with procedures such as facelifts, rhinoplasties, facial implants, eyelid surgery, etc. But as we enter into the month of October I feel compelled to address how important education and awareness must be in a woman’s life regarding breast cancer. Early detection of this disease can make all the difference for most people and this information needs to be known and available to people from all different backgrounds and socioeconomic groups. I also feel strongly that for any cancer one should be evaluated by a legitimate oncologist who is a medical doctor. I have heard too many stories and actually have a close friend who decided that she wanted to try alternative methods of treatment like going to Mexico for antioxidant therapy and herbal treatments. Needless to say these therapies did not work and the cancer only progressed rapidly. Cancer treatments can be difficult to undergo but I am of the opinion that there is no reasonable alternative therapy at this time.

The use of computer imaging in my Plastic Surgery practice:

The world of Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills is slightly different than most other regions in the world. As a Facelift and Rhinoplasty expert in Beverly Hills I see people from all over the world who are looking to have the Best Facelift and Best Rhinoplasty that they can possibly have. Many people who travel to Beverly Hills expect perfection or as close to it as possible. The computer imager allows me to show people what the likely results are that a given person can expect. It is imperative that the Plastic surgeon be careful to not show images that are not achievable because this will give the patient a false sense of what they should expect. After years of experience I am able to determine the results that any given person can expect and I show them these changes on the computer imager. This way the patient can make an educated and informed decision to have the proposed surgery or not based on the imaging. By showing realistic results and not over promising I am able to have an extremely high rate of very happy patients.

I have been working on a website that focuses strictly on Facelifts. My vision was to create a site that would be the most detailed and extensive authority on Facelifts on the web.

The information that will be available on this website is beyond the scope of my general website which gives general information on Facelifts, Rhinoplasties, Revision Rhinoplasties and other Facial Plastic procedures. My new Facelift website will go into great detail with regard to the different Facelift techniques that I have perfected over my career. After reviewing this website a person will be able to understand the differences between the available Facelift techniques and which technique would work the best for them.

My new website should be live by the August 1, 2010.

Facelift and Rhinoplasty in Dubai

I have been asked by Middle Eastern Royalty if I woulod consider coming to the Middle East to perform surgery there. I am strongly considering going to Dubai to perform facelifts and rhinoplasties. My trip would be scheduled for the end of Janurary 2010 and I would stay for 2 weeks. I think this would be an exciting trip and I would love to visit Dubai as I hear it is amazing.

I have many Middle Eastern patients who fly to LA and NYC to see me, people from Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Israel. This would obviously make my services more accessible to those people who can’t travel as readily and I have really enjoyed all my patients from that part of the world. They have been some of the nicest people I have taken care of and I would not expect that to change if I go to Dubai. I will keep updating the status of the trip on my blog as I make more decisions.
